Take Mitch McConnell at His Word? Not So Fast, Stephen Colbert!
Sunday on Meet The Press, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell refused to lay to rest speculation that President Obama is a secret Muslim. Said Senator McConnell, “The President says he’s a Christian, I take him at his word.” McConnell’s equivocation did not escape Stephen Colbert: “Just like when Mitch McConnell says he’s not a human turtle hybrid, I take him at his word.”
