Powell
I respect the thoughts that Carlos has about Colin Powell's endorsement of Barack Obama today, but I must say that it means little to me. Hopefully, it will control the media for a while, but Powell is a liar whose words have zero credibility to me. I just want everyone associated with this 8 year long disaster to go away.

I'd consider Powell a tool.
He was used and tossed when of no use.
I think his endorsement does ring along the same tones as I hear from many of my conservative friends: The Republican party has derailed and is no longer conservative. They have become a bitter mouthpiece for homophobics and anti-abortionists but have very little credibility with respect to economics, international affairs or politics in general.
