Ok, the 50-49 figure is fine for Republicans vs. everyone else, but shouldn't we be a little more honest and admit that two of those 50 are Sanders and Lieberman? Those two did NOT run as Democrats and few Dems really want to associate with Lieberman these days. I don't know much about Sanders, except that he didn't run as a Dem.

Facts are facts. It's 48-49-2 and will hopefully be 49-49-2 which makes it Darth Cheney vs. the two "others" for the new "decider" vote!

Did you see my comment on the other post? As far as control of the senate goes, with regards to committees, etc, Sanders and Lieberman will count with the Democrats, which will mean a whole hell of a lot. How they vote on other issues will vary (although Sanders is very liberal), but it's still a huge deal.
