The meaning of being a democracy is what, exactly?

Exactly. Of course, no one ever told him that he couldn't have what he wanted, all the time, so he thinks he owns the world.

Chile--oh right, the lawful winner of an election was overthrown by a militarist fascist. Thank God that could never happen here.....

Yeah, although I would have phrased it, "The democratically elected president of a country was assasinated by the CIA and replaced with a military fascist". You're much to tactful.

It will be interesting to see if Karzai and the future leader of Iraq show that history might actually repeat itself. That is, if we fail to learn from it.
