Is Sean Hannity insane?

I listen to Sean Hannity occassionally, because he is incredibly and unintentionally funny. I see a huge difference between him and say, Limbaugh. Rush is just an actor reading a script, I really don't think he believes the claptrap he spews. If you gave him the same money, he would happily quote from Mao's Little Red Book and the Communist Manifesto.

Hannity is a true believer, though, which is where the humor comes in. He recently said that the new "government" of Iraq should repay the United States for "liberating" them and should give dead soldier's family a million dollars.

Insane? Discuss.

What is a great idea? Having them reimburse us for invading them and bombing their cities and using liquid phosphorus on their children?

or did I misread you?

Actually, I think the US government should give $1MM to the families of every soldier killed or wounded in Iraq. After all, it's our government who put the soldiers in harm's way, and by choice, not by necessity. It's the least they can do.

And it's not like that's even that much money compared to how much Halliburton and friends have outright looted.
