We live in a stupid country.....

It is bad enough that 59 million people (give or take a few imaginary Floridians and Ohioans) thought that a reckless, dangerous, arrogant moron should be president, but now..

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?????

Americans plunked down more than $30 million to see
THE DUKES OF HAZZARD??????

For over 50 years Hollywood has been moaning that television (then the VCR and now DVDs) is stealing its' appeal. What Hollywood doesn't recognize is that recycled movies, sequels, and an over-reliance on special effects isn't going to change any trends. Therefore, raising ticket prices and quoting box office take can give the impression that one movie is good or that the industry is on a rebound. Hollywood pumps out so much crap and then over-hypes the crap, that the Peoples' Pimp can only enjoy a "good" movie at home.

For those who faithfully go to the movies the "Dukes" was the next thing to see. Not that it was good but that it was marketed to be seen and then forgotten.
